These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Blackjack Trainer iOS application ("the App") provided by Scott Enterprises Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. The App
The App provides educational blackjack strategy training, including basic strategy practice, card counting lessons, drills, quizzes, and progress tracking. The App is a learning tool only.
The App does not offer real-money gambling, casino play, betting, or cash prizes. You cannot win or lose money through the App.
2. No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, casino profits, or success in real-world gambling. Blackjack involves chance, and casino rules vary. The App is for practice and education only, not financial or gambling advice.
You are responsible for complying with local laws relating to gambling and casino play. We do not encourage unlawful gambling.
3. Accounts
No account is required. Progress and settings are stored locally on your device unless otherwise stated in our Privacy Policy.
4. Free and paid access
Basic strategy practice is available without a subscription. A paid Pro subscription unlocks premium training features available at the time of subscription, which may include card counting drills, advanced analytics, and related Pro content.
Subscription prices, free-trial length, and renewal terms are shown in the App Store before purchase. Payments are handled by Apple. Refunds and cancellations are subject to Apple's App Store policies.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for real-money gambling or as a substitute for licensed casino services
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or redistribute app content at scale
- Attempt to bypass paywalls or entitlement checks
- Use the App unlawfully or in a way that could harm others or our services
6. Intellectual property
The App, its design, code, and original content are owned by Scott Enterprises Ltd or licensed to us. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple devices you control.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update training content, drills, or strategy guidance as the product evolves.
8. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement where allowed.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scott Enterprises Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on training content, gambling decisions, or real-world play.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
